Westcoast Actuaries Inc. is participating in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge and supporting the BC Cancer Foundation.

It is little doubt that cancer has touched every one of our lives in one way or another. Indeed, one in three British Columbians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.

The BC Cancer Foundation is the fundraising partner of the BC Cancer Agency and the largest charitable funder of cancer research in this province. They enable donors to make contributions to leading-edge research that has a direct impact on improvements to cancer care for patients in British Columbia.

Because the BC Cancer Agency integrates research and treatment, the process from discovery to treatment is shorter, and researchers are asking questions focused on the needs of patients in BC.
