Westcoast Actuaries Inc. provides customized administration solutions to a broad range of retirement saving and retirement income plans.

Administration Services for Retirement Income Plans

  • Plan administration may include but not limited to:
    • Record-keeping
    • Account allocation and balance tracking
    • Enrollment
    • Prepare annual employer and employee statements
    • Reconcile plan financial activities and membership
    • Process termination, retirement, pre & post-retirement death and disability benefits
      • Perform benefit calculations
      • Prepare statement and/or election form required by pension legislation as well as other required forms such as Locking-In Agreement, transfer form and direct deposit form
      • Prepare authorization of payment to custodian
    • Prepare benefit estimates
    • Handle inquiries from members or their representatives
  • Handle all aspects of tax reporting
  • Prepare and file annual information return or pension trust return
  • Perform plan audit on benefit payments

We offer customized third-party administration services either on a fee-for-service basis or on a fixed annual or per- member charge basis payable quarterly or monthly. Amounts depend on member category and complexity of plan. Services are also available for implementation of turn-key administration systems and training of client’s internal administration staff.
