Westcoast Actuaries Inc. strongly believes in IPP (Individual Pension Plan) Education, specifically self-education.

Our business model promotes the IPP as a product rather than as a fee-for-service item. To this end, Westcoast Actuaries Inc. provides the following self-educational opportunities:

a) a comprehensive IPP Resource Centre available on our website;
b) free IPP seminars at our office;
c) free IPP seminars at your office; and
d) an IPP Essentials CD.

2. IPP Resource Centre

Our IPP Resource Centre features:

a) Canada's first On-Line IPP Quoting System © (Click Here). The quoting system is free, anonymous and easy to use. Please use the quoting system to determine whether an IPP is an appropriate product for you and your client;

b) Canada's first On-Line Implementation System © (Click Here). The implementation system permits the immediate transfer of you and your client's information to us via a secure link. The information is encrypted so that security is maintained;

c) an IPP FAQ - frequently answered questions;

d) in-depth information concerning contributions, funding arrangements, allowable investments, etc.;

e) our IPP Service Package describing our fees and services; and

f) the schedule of free IPP seminars held at our office.

3. Free IPP Seminars at OUR Office

Free IPP seminars are held at our office according to this schedule (Click Here).

The seminars are approximately 1 hour in length and cover basic IPP concepts. The seminars are designed so that you may ask questions throughout the presentation. Seminar attendees will receive a copy of our presentation.

5. IPP Essentials CD

We have developed Canada's first IPP Essentials CD which can be played in any PC (not Mac) computer with a CD drive.

This CD will provide introductory IPP material in a audio/visual format.
